Nate recently took Porter to his friend Todd's house
(known to our kids as "Old MacDonald's Farm")
The pigs that Porter had seen the time before were no longer there.
This is what he told me when he got home.
"Mommy, guess what? Hayden's pigs got died. Hayden's not sad because they goed to Heaven."

Yep, my kids always name my parents cattle and then they.butcher.it. and we eat it. The kids just laugh that they're eating "Frank" or "Froggie" or whatever. I don't think they quite get it yet. And it's sorta twisted too.
