Can we just revisit the birth story, because it was a good one.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, AUGUST HARRISON!

(Do you guys feel like you've witnessed his whole life so far?  You have!)

Just one short year ago, God completed our family when he gave us the Gus Man.

All about August:

*The grand total of diapers used the first year of life is...2,239

*He walks!  All over!

*He talks!  Says: uh-oh, oh yeah, more, dog, ball, baba, hi, bye, wazzat (what's that), Mama, Dada, and Papa.  Brooklyn says she has heard him say Sissy.  He can sign "more".

*We haven't been able to find a food that he won't eat.  He loves Cheerios, Gerber lil crunchies, beans (all kinds), spaghetti, oatmeal, rice, mashed potatoes (especially with garlic), cheese, peas, broccoli, corn

*He switched to whole milk with no problems, but still has trouble with the sippy cup. 

*He loves his binky, loves to "woof" at dogs out the window, dump out Mac's water bowl, look at books, and play with newspaper and TV remotes.  If he hears bath water running, he come tearing down the hall.  He adores Porter and Brooklyn (they can make him laugh the loudest).

*I'm not sure of his exact weight, but I would say between 22-24 pounds.  He wears size 12-18 month clothing and size 3 shoes.

*He has 2 teeth on top and 4 teeth on the bottom. 

We are so LUCKY to have our St. Patrick's Day boy!

His first birthday party is tomorrow!
