sweet, girly-girl mirror

Whoa, check out this beauty in all her plastic brassy glory!
She was begging to be girlified.
First I removed the screws on the back and detached the mirror.  I wanted some of the old brassiness to show through so I rubbed a bar of soap over the ridges (a new trick I just learned).  Then I sprayed it down with a few coats of Krylon celery  (love this color).
When it was dry, I scuffed it up with some sand paper and then rubbed more soap on the ridges.
Then I gave it a few coats of Krylon ballet slipper (cutest girl color ever).
When that was all dry I rubbed it with sand paper again.  Now a little celery and a little brassiness show through.  I screwed the mirror back on and it was done.
It's the perfect mirror for
a sweet, girly-girl.
