That's cute! We made one about 5 years ago for my mom's house. We actually used an old lamp shade, cut out lots of bats, taped them on and then spray painted the lamp shade black. We then took off the bats and voila--a new spooky lamp shade! Obviously your lamp shade is too nice to spray paint but you get the idea. My mom brings it out every year.
