Oh Jill, you should have seen the house we lived in back in sublimity, Or. Well it really wasn't a "house" but a manufactured home. It has GREENE carpet. GREENE half painted walls. Same GREENE tile you have. And GREEN backsplash in the kitchen. SAME cupboards you have and formica counter tops. It was awful!! So I totally understand. But you make it look so much better than mine with your beautiful decor.
Hi Jill, I found your blog @ DIY Show-off and girl, you crack me up! I love all your posts, but I HAD to comment on this one! I've always tried to avoid any posting any pics with glimpses of my kitchen but I LOVE how you just put it all out there! I too, have the flashback to the early '90s kitchen! Your countertop and my wallpaper need to get together, seriously(I can show you pics)! My cabinets are WAY worse, they have the "barn door" look! BLECH! Anyway, just wanted to say "hey!" and thanks for sharing!

ReplyDeleteSo funny! My friend painted her laminate counters and they turned out great! I think it only cost her about $60.
